At Saint Agatha School, the legacy of service and compassion doesn’t end at graduation. This spring, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming back dedicated alumni. Several high school seniors completed their service projects, and their contributions made a big difference.
We proudly welcomed four Ursuline Academy seniors who chose to spend their final days of high school volunteering at Saint Agatha. Each student brought talent, time, and heart to our classrooms and hallways, offering extra hands and warm smiles. We extended a special welcome to Saint Agatha alumna Chloe McGrath, whose return to Saint Agatha School felt like a full-circle moment. Chloe's dedication to helping out, whether preparing for the Art Show or assisting during lunch, resonated throughout the school, as students and staff alike appreciated her generosity and spirit. After her graduation, Chloe will attend Villanova University, a private Augustinian Catholic university in Pennsylvania known for its commitment to academic excellence and service.
Also joining the group of volunteers was Ricky Laflamme, a senior at Xaverian Brothers High School and a fellow Saint Agatha alumnus. Ricky’s presence was equally impactful; he helped organize books, supported staff in various tasks, and connected with students through his friendly and helpful attitude. His willingness to jump in wherever needed showcased the values instilled in him during his time at Saint Agatha.
Our alumni spirit didn’t stop there. We were also thrilled to see SAS alumni Donatella Oddi, Francesca Oddi, Natalie Gratch, and Matthew Gratch return to volunteer during our annual Field Day. Alongside Chloe McGrath, they helped make the event a joyful and memorable one for our students. Their energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to contribute helped create a day full of laughter, fun, and lasting memories.
While these alumni made an impression during their time on campus, Chloe McGrath is also going above and beyond off campus. This summer, she’ll be running in the 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Tommy’s Place, a special retreat home on Cape Cod that provides over 100 free weeklong vacations each year to children with cancer and their families.
Tommy’s Place is more than a vacation spot, it’s a sanctuary for families navigating the unimaginable. For children undergoing treatment and their families, this home offers joy, peace, and precious moments together. Chloe’s dedication to this cause reflects her compassionate, determined, and driven character. Running the race is just one aspect of her mission; she is also raising funds to support this incredible organization. Every donation contributes to bringing light and joy to families facing some of life’s toughest challenges.
Chloe’s goal is to make every mile count, and with our support, she can truly help change lives. You can participate in Chloe’s journey by contributing to her fundraising page. Whether you’re a current student, alumni, parent, or friend of Saint Agatha School, your support is important.
