At Saint Agatha School, we are more than just a Pre-K through Grade 8 private Catholic school - we are a community built on partnership, continuity, and shared values. Many of our families spend years with us, often enrolling multiple children who grow, learn, and thrive together under our roof. It is one of the greatest privileges of our work: watching siblings follow in each other’s footsteps and witnessing families invest in our mission over time.
This spring, we mark a milestone that is both joyful and bittersweet. After 19 wonderful years, the Kelly family’s journey at Saint Agatha School has come to a close. On Friday, their youngest child, Noah, completed his final day at SAS. As he walked out our doors for the last time as a student, he closed a chapter that had begun nearly two decades ago, one filled with love, faith, service, and a deep-rooted community.
The Kelly family has made a lasting impression on Saint Agatha in countless ways. Their children, Maddie, Nate, Rosie, and Noah, each brought their unique gifts to our school. Maddie transitioned from Saint Agatha School to Newton Country Day School and later attended the College of the Holy Cross. Nate followed with a similar spirit of excellence, going from Saint Agatha School to Saint Sebastian School and then to Wake Forest University. Rosie also continued from SAS to Newton Country Day before joining her brother at Wake Forest. And now, Noah will begin the next phase of his journey at Saint Sebastian School this fall, just as his brother once did.
Yet the legacy of the Kelly family extends far beyond academics and school transitions. Over the years, they have been deeply involved in the life of our school. Whether it was leading yoga sessions for our fifth graders during Catholic Schools Week, volunteering with lunch duty, supporting advancement events, or simply showing up with a warm smile and a willingness to help, time and again, the Kellys exemplified what it means to be active members of a school community.
Their contributions were never about recognition; they were driven by a genuine commitment to Saint Agatha School’s mission and the belief in the value of a faith-based education. Families like the Kellys are what make our school special: they give of themselves, invest in others, and enrich the community in ways that will be felt for years to come.
As we say farewell to the Kelly family, we do so with profound gratitude and admiration. Their legacy is woven into the fabric of Saint Agatha School, from classrooms and lunchrooms to assemblies and service projects. While we will miss seeing them in the hallways, we know that the values and spirit they’ve helped nurture will continue to flourish.
To the Kelly family: thank you for 19 incredible years.
You will always be a part of the Saint Agatha family.
